I am very lucky. Terrible things keep happening to me that I then turn into hour-long comedy shows. This last year has been a humdinger. I thought I had peaked having a brain tumour, but no. Fate had not quite finished with me.
Terrible thing # 1 - I was the victim of false allegations.
Terrible thing # 2 - as a consequence of thing # 1, I became ill and nearly died.
Terrible thing #3 - as a consequence of thing #2, I had my heart broken, both literally and metaphorically. Can't you just see the comedy already? Are you cackling? (I like the word 'cackling')
I lost the will to be kind, which has always been my big thing. However happy endings abound, with the help of Chinese reptiles and wind instruments. Oh, and the NHS.
I love doing the Edinburgh Fringe. This is my third story-telling show. It's the best festival in the world to see or perform in shows. I buzz with excitement every day I am there.
Well, there are very few shows which feature a female, Scottish didgeridoo player.
Anyone who likes comedy story-telling, anyone who has suffered injustice, anyone who has ever been sick, teachers, students, Ofsted inspectors, cardiologists, (they love a laugh), the Chinese, and, of course, lovers of the didgeridoo.
Sarah Kendall- story-telling goddess that she is
Larry Dean - fabulous, Scottish patter merchant that he is
Louise Reay - brilliant, off-the-wall clown that she is.
