Tell us a bit about Acéléré.

It's a fearless circus concert with infectious energy. There's guts, grace and gusto direct from Bogota.

What sets Acéléré apart from other circus shows at the Fringe?

Circolombia has revived old circus techniques which you don't find anywhere in Europe, possibly because they are so hard to do and take so long to master. For example - the Mental Dental, where Laura hangs a man from her teeth, or the Percha, in which a huge hoop is balanced on Franco's forehead (with no hands), and then a girl climbs within it, contorts and does hand-balancing.

Make no mistake, this is not a virtuosity talent contest - this is a hugely inspirational circo-concierto.

Who would you recommend Acéléré to?

Young, old... anyone who needs their soul to dance.

What made you decide to bring your show to the Fringe?

First time with this show, last time worked really well for Circolombia's Intimo at the main Assembly Hall, and Underbelly wanted our new show, so riding the back of our summer tour we're a coming to Edinburgh - risk it for a biscuit.

What do you hope that the audience will take away from it?

Life, love laughter and maybe drippling saliva as mouths gape open.

Timings and ticket information for Acéléré are available on the edfringe website.
