Anna Mann is a character created by character comedian Colin Hoult. That is the one and only time I will mention Hoult, as the limelight clearly belongs to Anna and Anna alone...

Anna Mann has drawn inspiration from her therapy group in order to create a sketch show that won't technically cure you of depression (or so she legally has to say) but will definitely lift your spirits. Once a successful actress in shows such as Alien: The Musical, Anna Mann is no longer getting roles on account of being over 25 and female. But she's not bitter about it.

A Sketch Show for Depressives has been expertly crafted. The whole piece is super slick and absolutely hilarious. Anna involves the audience with playful teasing and it is all taken in good spirit.

A Sketch Show For Depressives is the kind of show that will have you quoting lines from it with your friends in the bar afterwards. Anna Mann is character comedy at its best.

Anna Mann: A Sketch Show For Depressives runs at the Pleasance Courtyard until 29 August.
