We talk to comedienne Laura Lexx about her 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show Tyrannosaurus Lexx.
What can you tell us about the show?
It's a quick-fire rampage through a lot of little things that make up the sort of person you become despite who you might have been trying to be.
What was the inspiration behind it?
Feeling overwhelmed by all the ways the world is talking to me and telling me about my possibilities, my flaws, my f**k-ups and my opportunities. Sometimes I just want to sit and think about animals and stuff, so that's what I've done.
Is this your first year at the Fringe?
Nope, seventh. Can you Adam and Eve it?
Who would you recommend comes to see Tyrannosaurus Lexx?
People who:
a) Are free at 2:20pm one day between 4th and 28th August (not 15th).
b) Think a fiver is fair cop for an hour's comedy.
c) Are looking for frivolous fun about some big stuff.
What's next for you after the festival?
World domination via a long bath and some sitcom scripts.
