Christina Bianco made her Edinburgh Fringe debut last year as part of Divallusion and this year she is performing her solo show Party Of One.
Opening with Life Of The Party, Christina Bianco switches seamlessly between musical performances and storytelling. She talks us through her career beginnings and when she first discovered her knack for impressions. Put on the spot by her band after claiming to be able to impersonate anyone from A to Z, she launches into 26 flawless impressions. I am aware that these are almost certainly rehearsed but they feel spontaneous!
One of the things that Christina Bianco is best known for is her unlikely interpretations. An example of this from tonight is Julie Andrews singing Jessie J's "Bang Bang" which is something I never thought I would hear! Another highlight was her medley of movie songs which has too many brilliant impressions to name.
It's not just singers that Bianco can do. She performs a reading (I won't tell you what the reading is from - you really have to hear it to believe it!) in the voices of several different actresses. My personal favourite is her Cheryl Cole piece which is absolutely hysterical.
What makes Party Of One stand out from your standard cabaret show is Bianco's personality. She is a very engaging performer and looks like she is having an absolute ball doing it. It seems that Divallusion was just the tip of the iceberg of what this woman is capable of!
