Based on the story of Wind In The Willows author Kenneth Grahame, Sincerely, Mr Toad begins with the birth of Kenneth's son Alastair (fondly known as 'mouse') is born blind in one eye. The story flits between Kenneth's close relationship with his son and flashbacks to his strained relationship with his own father.

After confronted by a gunman in the bank where he works, Kenneth decides to follow his passion and write the children's stories that he dreamed up with his son.

It would be impossible to single out one member of this talented cast. The soundtrack is excellent and every performer was absolutely fantastic.

Sincerely, Mr Toad is fast paced, but almost too fast paced. I'm not sure if it has been edited down for the Fringe (it runs at 1hr15mins) but I feel it could have been a bit longer. Aside from that, Sincerely, Mr Toad is an absolutely terrific musical and is ready to transfer to a larger stage.

Sincerely, Mr Toad runs at the Pleasance Dome. Ticket information and timings are available here.
