State of Play Festival: Paufve Dance - Sisters at ODC Theater

*Sisters* is an anthology of dances addressing an urgent contemporary political issue: a woman’s right to choose. Drawing on the dancers' personal stories of gender expression, motherhood, birth, and pregnancy, Sisters honors the whisper networks, emotional labor, and sororal secrets that sustain us through finely forged choreography and performances by eleven powerhouse women. On Thursday, August 1 at 9:00pm a conversation with the artists will follow the performance, moderated by Julie Phelps, CounterPulse Artistic & Executive Director.
