State of Play Festival: David Harvey and Babatunji - Chimera at ODC Theater

*Chimera* explores the many identities of one body - how they emerge through behavior relationship, and embodiment. This dance work employs a sensitive physical language that combines care, wildness, intimacy, and enthusiasm, and centers on a duet between two men. The use of video design describes the often unseen implications of how relationships reveal hidden aspects of one’s own identity. *Chimera* contemplates the outlines of the self–their mutability, permeability, and how they overlap within the infinite undulating of context, environment, and relationship.
