The Transcendence Theatre Company (TTC) has partnered with Benziger Family Winery to develop their very own Meritage blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel called PAINT THE UNIVERSE. PAINT THE UNIVERSE is the guiding theme for the Transcendence 2014 season, reminding us all that the power to change the world lives in each and every one of us.

In the spirit of Transcendence's mission to go beyond the usual limits, the theme has been carried on with the creation of an original season song by the same title (written by internet sensation singer/songwriter Carrie Manolakos, with Andrew Allen and Robin Ghosh) and a painting by artist Lindsay Manolakos. Throw this all together with a bold wine that winemaker Mike Benziger calls, "daring and adventurous," and you have a Transcendent combination.

The Benziger wine portfolio is certified sustainable, organic or Biodynamic©. In the pursuit of fine wine, Benziger follows agricultural, wine making and business practices that are good for the earth and the vine, good for the farm worker and the farmer, and good for their colleagues and their customers.

This limited production wine is grown using Biodynamic farming practices at the Benziger Family Estate, where the grapes ripened slowly and developed a rich black-fruit essence and with great depth and texture. The rich volcanic soils allow for the true essence of the land to come through in every sip.

Co-Executive Director Brad Surosky stated "We believe that life is a magical adventure that should be lived to the fullest. Like all things Transcendence, this bottle is, more than anything, an experience. Blended by Mike Benziger alongside the founders of TTC, this wine brings together the magic of music, art, and winemaking. So drink a glass of inspiration and dare to dream. Let's draw paradise together."

The wine, the original song, and the original artwork can all be experienced at the award-winning "Broadway Under The Stars in Jack London State Historic Park" concerts that Transcendence is producing this summer, with the wine and the song also available for purchase starting June 12th on their website at www.TTCsonoma.org

Transcendence Theatre was named Broadway World San Francisco's 2013 "Theater of the Year." Over the last two seasons the company has given over $72,000 to Jack London State Historic Park, while winning the Broadway World San Francisco award for Best Special Theater Event in both of its first two seasons.

This summer the Broadway Under The Stars in Jack London State Historic Park concert series runs from June 27 to September 6, and it includes performers who have been featured on Broadway in The Book Of Mormon, Wicked, The Phantom Of The Opera, Mamma Mia, West Side Story, Grease, Spring Awakening, Thoroughly Modern Millie, A Chorus Line and many more!

In addition Transcendence is also presenting concerts this summer at Paradise Ridge Winery, Chateau St. Jean, Atwood Ranch, Landmark Vineyards and in Jack London State Historic Park as a part of their Transcendence Artist Series, that will feature stellar performers including Broadway legend Ben Vereen (on August 9th).

Transcendence has an ever-growing list of sponsors and partners for the 2014 season including Nelson, Benziger Family Winery, Sonoma Index Tribune, Chateau St. Jean, Sotheby's International Realty, Beau Wine Tours, KZST, Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, Whole Foods Sonoma, Preiser Key, The Girl & The Fig, El Pueblo Inn, Classic Party Rentals, JDH Wealth Management LLC, Parkpoint Health Clubs, SomethingAboutSonoma.com, Sonoma Market, Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance, Julie Atwood Events, The Dance Center Santa Rosa, the Valley Of The Moon Natural History Association, Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley, Friedman's Home Improvements, Glen Ellen Dentistry, California Sate Parks, Jack London State Historic Park, Magical Massage, Olive and Vine, The Glen Ellen Star, Kid Scoop News, the County of Sonoma, as well as 7 sparkling wine sponsors, 15 nightly wine sponsors, and over 23 pouring partner wineries.
