Grammy Nominated Ottmar Liebert returns The Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason, SF, on June 25 for a full weekend of concerts.  Tickets are $40-$42.50 and can be purchased at www.therrazzroom.com or directly through www.ticketweb.com or 866 468 3399.

Liebert’s legendary debut release, Nouveau Flamenco is the biggest selling guitar album in history.  He has released over 30 albums and received more than 30 gold and platinum awards.  Liebert thrills audiences worldwide as one of instrumental music's most popular live performers and sold out his performances at the Rrazz Room in 2008.

Born in Cologne, Germany to a Chinese-German father and Hungarian mother, Ottmar began playing guitar at 11, and traveled extensively through Europe and Asia intent on fully absorbing each musical tradition he encountered. After pursuing his Rock and Roll dreams in his native Germany and in Boston, he settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

By 1989, he had founded his new band, Luna Negra. When his self produced record found its way to radio stations and began generating a buzz among programmers and an unprecedented response among listeners, it was picked up by a record company and released again for wider distributuion.

Liebert has since become one of the most successful instrumental artists, thrilling audiences throughout the world and releasing dozens of classic recordings. In 2006, Liebert released One Guitar, his first solo guitar recording, which received his fourth nomination for a Grammy. He performs all over the world as a solo artist and with his band, Luna Negra.
