NCTC begins the Summer Cabaret Series with Katya in What Becomes a Legend Most? The show previews May 14 – 15, opens May 16th and runs through June 27, 2009: Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm. All performances will take place at The New Conservatory Theatre Center (Theatre 3), located at 25 Van Ness Ave. near Market St. in San Francisco, 94102. Join the Countess Katya Smirnoff-Skyy for cocktails, tall tales, and tunes in this all-new musical spectacular. Relish in her memories as she recalls her thirty-year career and madcap misadventures that made her the legend she believes she is today.

Katya is the creation of Bay Area native, J. Conrad Frank, who received his vocal training at the University of Oregon. Frank is also a member of NCTC’s Emerging Artists Program.
