Men on Boats is the true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition, when a one-armed captain and an unruly crew of explorers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River. Inspired by actual travelogues, an all-female cast portrays the all-male crew in this sly comedy that challenges our preconceptions about history, masculinity, and the events that shape our stories.
