The Utah Cultural Celebration Center Is Set to Present World Travelers, International Folk Musicians And Dancers On 8/10

In conjunction with the Bountiful/Davis Art Center’s 21st Annual Summerfest International (August 6 – 8 at Bountiful City Park – 400 N. 200 W.), the Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents International folk musicians and dancers from three different countries to wrap up the 2009 WorldStage! summer concerts.

The event is set to take place at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 8:00 p.m..

Everyone is invited to this free concert, made possible by the Salt Lake County ZAP tax and a generous grant from WalMart.

At the World Travelers first stop you will experience the traditional dances and music from Gödöllö, Hungary with the Bartók Folkdance Ensemble.  You’ll visit Poland next, with the music and dance traditions of “Maly Slask” from Radzionkó, Poland.  The World Travelers final stop is Botosani, Romania, featuring Klezmer musicians Moldavian – Rose and dancers Cultural Society Orpheus.
