Broadway Series South Invites You To Spend The 4th Of July With The Four Seasons

Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, is now playing at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts through July 18 in its North Carolina premiere.

In celebration of the Independence Day holiday, Broadway Series South is offering special holiday pricing of $50.50 tickets for the following performances: July 3, 8 p.m., July 4th, 2 & 8 p.m. and  July 5th, 2 & 7 p.m.

Directed by two-time Tony® Award-winner Des McAnuff,Jersey Boys won the 2006 Tony® Award for Best Musical, the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Show Album, and most recently, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, and continues to break box office records on Broadway and across North America.Jersey Boys is written by Academy Award® -winner Marshall Brickman
and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Jersey Boys is presented in Raleigh as part of the 2009/10 Season presented by Broadway Series South.

Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.  This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time.  They wrote their own songs, invented their own sound and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.

Jersey Boys will premiere in Raleigh at the Progress Energy Center.  The performance schedule is: 6/24, 8 p.m., 6/25, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m., 6/26, 8 p.m., 6/27, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m., 6/28, 2 p.m. & 7 p.m., 6/30, 7/1, 7/2, 7/3, 8 p.m., 7/4, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m., 7/5, 2 p.m. & 7 p.m., 7/7, 7/8, 7/9 & 7/10, 8 p.m., 7/11, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m., 7/12, 2 p.m. & 7 p.m., 7/13, 8 p.m., 7/14, 8 p.m., 7/15, 8 p.m., 7/16, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m., 7/17, 8 p.m., 7/18, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m..
