Pittsburgh CLO’s is set to hold auditions for its production of Forever Plaid. Auditions are set for July 12th from 12:00pm - 8:00pm (by appointment). Auditions will be held at Pittsburg CLO Academy of Music Theater (Penn Avenue Place, 130 CLO Academy Way, 9th Floor, Downtown Pittsburgh).
Four actors to play within an age range of 20s to 30s, who are capable of close harmonic singing of the "guy groups" of the 1950s-60s (i.e. The Four Aces, The Four Lads, The Lettermen, The Crew Cuts, etc.)
All performers must:
Prepare material, from any source or time period, that shows range with simplicity and honesty. These are “real” guys, not professional showmen or lounge singers. No Doo-Wop or Rock N’ Roll. Be prepared to read.
Bring a headshot and typed resume stapled together
Prepare 16 bars up-tempo and ballad that show your voice at it’s best
Turn in a completed audition application
Bring legitimate sheet music in your key with cuts clearly marked
