Arizona Theatre Company Receives A $2.18 Million Technology Grant From Piper Trust

Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust has awarded $2.18 million in grants to Maricopa County nonprofits, including Arizona Theatre Company. Thanks to this grant, Arizona Theatre Company will purchase and implement an integrated customer relationship management software system to better serve its patrons in Arizona. Other plans include website development and hardware upgrades.

Implementing a fully-integrated system will allow Arizona Theatre Company to more effectively serve ATC customers by offering more efficient ticket sales options, including advanced web sales technology, the availability of cellular technology for ticket-scanning at the theatre, e-tickets and print-at-home ticketing options.

"Thanks to the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, Arizona Theatre Company will be able to take a giant leap in its ability to create relationships with its patrons," said ATC Managing Director Kevin E. Moore. "This grant will allow the theatre to enhance its web site as well as its ability to create an easier ticket-buying and donating experience. Once again, the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust has shown its commitment to the community by supporting Arizona Theatre Company and so many other not-for-profits throughout Maricopa County that create the fabric of the lives of the people that live here."
