G(r)een is a heartwarming exploration of a child's connection with nature, inspired by the challenges of a speech impediment. Through imaginative play, humor, and lively music, the show presents a protagonist who, while initially mocked for their rhotacism, learns to embrace their unique way of communicating and finds friendship with whimsical characters like a corn piece in a garbage disposal. Directed by Grace Lazarz, the production encourages acceptance and creativity while engaging with themes like climate change. This delightful performance is designed for families with children ages 4-9 and will run at Liberty Lands Park from September 7 to September 22 as part of the Cannonball Festival.
