BIO
Steven Pasquale attended Bishop McDevitt High School in Pennsylvania and studied theatre for one semester at Southern Methodist University before moving to New York to pursue acting. Early in his stage career, he originated the role of Fabrizio in the Seattle production of The Light in the Piazza and appeared as Sheriff Joe Sutter in The Spitfire Grill. In 1998, he starred as Chris in the national tour of Miss Saigon. His later theatre credits included A Man of No Importance (2002), The Secret Garden in concert (2002), Reasons to Be Pretty (2009), Far from Heaven (2013), The Bridges of Madison County at Williamstown Theatre Festival (2013) and on Broadway (2014), Carousel at Lyric Opera of Chicago (2015), The Robber Bridegroom (2016), and Guys and Dolls at the Kennedy Center (2022).
Pasquale expanded into television with roles in Rescue Me, the Fox pilot Over/Under (2011), the miniseries Coma (2012), and the NBC drama Do No Harm (2013), in which he played the lead role. In 2014, he guest starred on The Good Wife, and in 2016 he portrayed Mark Fuhrman in FX’s American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.
In music, Pasquale released his debut jazz album, Somethin’ Like Love, in 2009 through PS Classics. In 2024, he released the single “Some Other Time” with Center Stage Records, featuring guitarist John Pizzarelli.
Pasquale has received several stage honors during his career. In 2016, he won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical for The Robber Bridegroom. He also received a Helen Hayes Award nomination for his performance as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls in 2022.
In 2023 and 2024, he appeared as Raffael Santello Di Santicci in Here We Are at The Shed Off-Broadway. In 2024, he played Pastor Bill O'Keefe in Teeth at Playwrights Horizons Off-Broadway, and also starred as Guido Contini in Nine at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
In 2025, he portrayed Ron in Millions at Alliance Theatre and Robert in the reunion concert production of *The Bridges of Madison County* at Carnegie Hall.
In 2026, he appeared as Charles Condomine in High Spirits at New York City Center Off-Broadway.
