Dance Camera West, globally renowned dance film festival presents its 21st edition premiering 60+ dance films in Los Angeles at the Historic Barnsdall Art Park in Hollywood, Thursday, January 19, through Saturday, January 21, 2023.

The full lineup of July 15-16’s Master Musicians Festival includes Grace Potter, The Wood Brothers, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Rayland Baxter, Boy Named Banjo, John R. The City of Los Angeles, Barnsdall Art Park Foundation, and Los Angeles Parks Foundation have announced an ambitious community initiative to restore and sustain the historic olive grove of Barnsdall Art Park in East Hollywood. The world- renowned 11.5-acre park and cultural destination includes Hollyhock House, created by Frank Lloyd Wright for Aline Barnsdall, which is Los Angeles's only UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Author Willie Davis has written a historical fiction novel, 'Olive Hill' about how one small Appalachian town in Kentucky can lay claim to helping build America. Davis shared, 'I became determined to tell Olive Hill's storied past.'

Acclaimed country singer/songwriter Tom T. Hall and television host and folksinger Michael Johnathon are among recipients of the 2020 Governor's Awards in the Arts to be presented virtually by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear on Tuesday, January 26. The ceremony, which will livestream, was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ross Dinerstein's Campfire (Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Silicon Cowboys), part of Wheelhouse Entertainment, Forbes Entertainment and Olive Hill Media will produce the feature length documentary chronicling the meteoric rise and fall of WeWork.

Longtime winemaker at Girard Napa Valley, Glenn Hugo, takes on an added role as winemaker for Sonoma Valley's iconic B.R. Cohn Winery. Marco DiGiulio, Chief Winemaker at Vintage Wine Estates, who owns both properties, announced that Hugo will assume the reigns at B.R. Cohn Winery based on his impressive record for crafting balanced, expressive and high-scoring wines at Girard Winery.

Nearly a hundred years after Aline Barnsdall first envisioned an artist colony on Olive Hill in the middle of Hollywood, the public will have a rare opportunity to experience her dream come to life. Beginning May 6th, Hollyhock House, in partnership with Circle X Theatre Co. and J.U.S.T. Toys Productions, presents the Maria Irene Fornes play FEFU AND HER FRIENDS staged as an immersive theatrical event inside Hollyhock House. It is a first for this historical beauty and an exciting project that unites the past and present in more ways than one.
