CAMELOT on Broadway Sets July Closing

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that its acclaimed new version of Lerner & Loewe’s CAMELOT will end its run at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on Sunday, July 23, at which point it will have played a total of 153 performances (38 previews and 115 regular performances).

Featuring a book by Academy and Emmy Award winning writer Aaron Sorkin, based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, and direction by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, Lerner & Loewe's Camelot is scheduled to begin performances on Thursday, March 9, 2023, and open on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Lower Manhattan's Shakespeare Downtown presents eight free performances of George Bernard Shaw's masterpiece, 'Saint Joan,' from June 16-26, 2022 inside the historic walls of Castle Clinton National Monument at The Battery. This timely play, directed by Geoffrey Horne, is based on historical records of the 1431 trial of French military icon and religious martyr Joan of Arc.
