BIO

Kate joined the Donmar Warehouse (Covent Garden) in 2012 as Executive Producer where she has produced over 50 productions, including The Weir (also West End), The Night Alive (also Atlantic Theater, New York), Coriolanus (also NT Live), Privacy (also Public Theater, NY), My Night With Reg (also West End), City of Angels, Closer, The Vote (also broadcast live on More4), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (also NT Live and Broadway), Elegy, Faith Healer, One Night in Miami, Saint Joan (also NT Live), Limehouse and Belleville. Over this period Kate has also produced Phyllida Lloyd’s all-female Shakespeare Trilogy – Julius Caesar, Henry IV and The Tempest – in London and New York. Kate produced filmed versions of all three productions, the first of which, Julius Caesar, premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, 2017.

Previously, Kate was Producer at The Old Vic, where she worked on all aspects of programming and produced The 24 Hour Plays. She also founded Old Vic New Voices, the theatre’s programme to promote and nurture the work of new talent. Prior to The Old Vic, Kate worked in television – researching, directing and producing factual programming for ITV, Channel 4 and BBC1.

Kate was appointed to the board of The Society of London Theatre in 2015.
