BIO

Jonathon Timpanelli began his professional career at Universal Orlando during his Freshman year of college. There he performed as a Blues Brother and in other various acting and hosting roles around the park. Shortly after he graduated with his BFA in Theatre Performance, he booked the role of Bloat in Finding Nemo the Musical at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. After a glorious year of swimming in the Big Blue World, Jonathon booked the First Broadway National Tour of School Of Rock The Musical as the cover for the lead role of Dewey Finn. After a year of touring all over North America, Jonathon finally made the move to the “Big Apple.” In 2020, Jonathon wrote short films, recorded quite a few voiceovers, and continued to practice his craft while enjoying an occasional slice of pizza. Ok...it was more than occasional …and it was more than a slice. Jonathon continues to go viral showcasing his incredible eyebrow skills on shows such as America’s Got Talent, The Tonight Show, and SportsCenter. As of recent, Jonathon has traveled all over the world performing his one-man show “Old Soul.” He continues to swoon and croon audiences to tunes from Sinatra, Bublé, and Tony Bennett to name a few. Using comedy, audience interaction, and impeccable dance skills, Jonathon brings you great music, warm laughs, and decent impressions.

BWW Review: SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL: From Brainiacs to Musical Maniacs

SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL is bursting with kids, all of them bursting with talent. Based on the 2003 movie starring Jack Black, the stage version is the brainchild of Andrew Lloyd Webber, a guy who knows a thing or two about creating successful musicals. Nominated for four 2016 Tony Awards, the show ran for more than three years on Broadway, a little over a year in London, and the national tour has been on the road since September, 2017. It's a feel good musical with a happy ending, something to lighten up the winter doldrums.

BWW Review: Continued Education at Overture Center with SCHOOL OF ROCK

Complete with lights and haze machine, Andrew Lloyd Weber's School of Rock, opens with the fictitious Band, No Vacancy, singing "I'm Too Hot for You". As the super cool rockers do their thing, rock-god-wanna-be Dewey Finn (Merrit David James), super un-cool by comparison, does his. This results in him being forced out of the band.
