Fresh from a six month residency at the spectacular Union Square Theatre in New York, a whirl around Australia and touring the land of the midnight sun, La Soiree returns at last to London.

Canal Park Playhouse today announced that due to popular demand STUNT LAB, created and performed by Mark Hayward and Jonathan Burns, will extend for an extra week. STUNT LAB, originally scheduled to end on Sunday, April 1, will now close on Sunday, April 8. Performances take place at Canal Park Playhouse (508 Canal Street, between Greenwich and West Streets in Tribeca). The performance schedule is Saturdays and Sundays at 1 PM & 4 PM. HarperCollins announced today the acquisition of a currently untitled memoir by Barbara Cook, the noted actress, singer, and concert performer. Cook's collaborator will be New York Times theater critic Charles Isherwood. The world rights deal was negotiated by Jonathan Burnham, Senior Vice President and Publisher, Harper, and Rakesh Satyal, Senior Editor, Harper; Cook's manager, Jeff Berger at Jeff Berger Management; and Isherwood's agent, David Kuhn at Kuhn Projects. The book will be published in the fall of 2012, the year of Cook's eighty-fifth birthday.
