BRIGHT STAR's A.J. Shively to Lead Reading of New Musical CONRACK at York Theatre Company
The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and the preservation of musical gems from the past, in association with Quill Entertainment Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present the staged reading of the new musical Conrack, based on the novel The Water Is Wide by Pat Conroy, with music by Lee Pockriss, book by Granville Wyche Burgess, lyrics by Anne Croswell, additional music by Doug Katsaros, and additional lyrics by Granville Wyche Burgess.

TACT Announces Wednesday Matinees for LOST IN YONKERS
TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," announced today that due to a demand for tickets, two weekday matinee performances (Wednesday, April 4 & 11 at 2pm), have been added for Lost in Yonkers, the final production of the company's 2011/12 season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012 and the enjoyed an official opening night on Thursday, March 22nd. Performances will continue through Saturday, April 14th.
