Gina Beck and Michael Simkins Join GUYS & DOLLS at the Bridge Theatre
Gina Beck (Matilda; The Sound of Music; Show Boat; Wicked; Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables) and Michael Simkins (John Gabriel Borkman; Backstairs Billy; The Unfriend; Fracked!; Yes, Prime Minister; MAMMA MIA!) will be joining the cast of Guys & Dolls at the Bridge Theatre from 02 September.
Hannah Waddingham, HAMILTON & More Voice Support For West End Pay Raise Campaign
Hannah Waddingham, the West End cast of Hamilton, and more have voiced their support for Equity's Stand Up For 17% campaign. The newly-launched campaign calls for a 17% pay raise for West End performers and stage management, among other improvements. Miriam Margolyes, Matthew Modine, The Mouse Trap and Moulin Rouge have also shared their support.

The show is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book Tales of the South Pacific and made its Broadway debut in 1949; it is surprisingly progressive, despite its age, making it a relatively unproblematic revival. It also helps that it contains some of musical theatre’s most recognisable songs, including “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair”, “Some Enchanted Evening”, and “There Is Nothing Like a Dame”.
