Gayle Samuels earned a Best Actress nomination from the Connecticut Critics Circle for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar & Grill and received rave reviews for her portrayal of Rose in Fences and Louise in Seven Guitars. She recently made her Metropolitan Opera debut in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, did the national tour of Little House on the Prairie and toured internationally as a featured vocalist with Harry Belafonte.
