Evan grew up in Delmar, a suburb of Albany, New York, and by age five was studying piano under Noel Liberty. As time progressed, he also became a tutor of various languages, a meditation leader, an All-American track athlete, the valedictorian of his high school class, and the top-ranked young classical tenor saxophonist in the United States.
Evan then went to Harvard, where he studied voice with Charley Blandy, acting with such greats as Scott Zigler, Marcus Stern, Tommy Derrah, and Jeremy Geidt, vocal production with Nancy Houfek, and dance with Katie Ulissey, Leslie Woodies, Margot Parsons, and Julia Boynton. He also circled the globe singing vocal jazz for celebrities, royalty, and crowds of up to 40,000 with the Harvard Din & Tonics, and played Reed 1 in the pit orchestra of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals in Cambridge, New York City, and Bermuda. In his spare time he majored in linguistics, and graduated magna cum laude.
Now a New York City-based singer/actor, Evan has performed in nearly all 50 US states and in over 40 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Broadway: Cabaret (dir. He has also modeled for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Izod, Mercedes-Benz, and David Bartons Gym.
