BIO

Eddie Perfect is an Australian composer, lyricist, playwright, musician and performer. His works for the stage include Shane Warne The Musical (Token Events) for which he won a Helpmann, Greenroom and Victorian Premier's Literary Award, Vivid White and The Beast (Melbourne Theatre Company), Strictly Ballroom (Global Creatures), Songs From The Middle (with the Brodsky Quartet) and King Kong Alive On Broadway (Global Creatures). Eddie's acting credits include Offspring (Ten), South Pacific (Opera Australia/Lincoln Centre Theatre), Keating! (Belvoir) and as a regular presenter on Playschool. Eddie dedicates Beetlejuice to his wife Lucy Cochran and his daughters Kitty and Charlotte.

BEETLEJUICE The Musical made its debut in Vancouver, BC on January 21 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Running until January 26, the show based off of the 1988 Beetlejuice film by Tim Burton, brings audiences into a new era of musical theatre.

Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.
