GREASE is the word, as the title song goes from the Blockbuster movie musical that had an all star cast including Olivia Newton John, John Travolta, and Stockard Channing. Next weekend STARRING BUFFALO presents the stage version in it's signature concert, semi staged style. And some of Broadway's newest rising stars come to town for 3 performances of beloved 50's High School musical.

American Theatre Wing Announces 2018 Jonathan Larson Grant Recipients
The American Theatre Wing (Heather Hitchens, President & CEO) announced today that the 2018 Jonathan Larson® Grants recipients areJay Adana (music and lyrics), Andrew R. Butler & Andrew Farmer (music, lyrics, and book), Emily Kaczmarek & Zoe Sarnak (music, lyrics, and book), and Mark Sonnenblick(music and lyrics). Four prestigious, unrestricted grants of $10,000 each, as well as additional support in the form of residencies, concerts, and recording grants, totaling over $48,000, will be presented on Monday, March 19, 2018 at a private event at the WNYC Greene Space. The event will feature special performances of the recipients' work.

This year's star-studded Orchard Project Gala, A TASTE OF SOMETHING NEW, a star-studded celebration of the best of the new - from new food to new work - is set for May 1 at the Diamond Horseshoe in midtown Manhattan. The event, raising funds to expand Orchard Project's programming, will also honor acclaimed playwright, screenwriter, and Exchange Board Member Robert Schenkkan.
