Irish Repertory Theatre presents Dublin Carol, written by Conor McPherson (The Seafarer) and directed by Ciarán O'Reilly (The Shadow of a Gunman). Performances began on September 20, 2019 on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage with an opening night on October 1, for a limited run through November 10, 2019.

The 2019 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 19 categories, with one special award and three honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by Drama Desk Award-nominated writer and performer of The New One, Mike Birbiglia. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation. Additional support is provided by TDF.
Irish Rep to Honor President Bill Clinton at 2019 Gala
Irish Repertory Theatre presents A 30th Anniversary Celebration, this season's Gala benefit production, on Monday June 17th at 7:00PM at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center (1941 Broadway, New York, NY 10023). The evening will honor President Bill Clinton for his work on the historic Good Friday Agreement, securing peace in Northern Ireland.

Irish Repertory Theatre just celebrated opening night of THE SEAFARER, starring two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick (Shining City). THE SEAFARER, written by Conor McPherson (Shining City) and directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (The Emperor Jones), began performances on March 30, 2018 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, and will now run through May 24, 2018.

As part of their 2017 summer season, Irish Repertory Theatre, is presenting the US premiere of THE ARAN ISLANDS, directed by Joe O' Byrne. Returning to Irish Rep after 16 years, O'Byrne is looking forward to sharing Irish playwright, John Millington Synge's work with New York audiences and is grateful to this organization for making it possible to share the work of Irish artists. This classic work celebrates the art of storytelling and challenges audiences to step outside their own cultures for a brief time and immerse themselves in a whole new world of discovery and enlightenment.

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing professionals, just presented the 7th annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards yesterday at Sardi's. Honorees were on hand to accept their awards and Signature Theater founder James Houghton was posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame.
