OZ Arts Nashville Announces Innovative Local Artists Featured in Inaugural Brave New Works Lab
Contemporary arts center OZ Arts Nashville today announced the line-up for its inaugural Brave New Works Lab, which transforms the organization’s expansive warehouse into a laboratory for local artists to experiment with new forms as they create new works for the stage. The program features four unique performance pieces from local artists working across multiple disciplines, including dance, theater, multimedia, performance art, and music. Performances will be held nightly from May 19-21, and OZ Arts will also host a cutting-edge visual art exhibit and poetic film screenings presented with local partner organizations in conjunction with the Brave New Works Lab.

Lena Hall and FLETCHER to Perform at the GLSEN Respect Awards
GLSEN has announced that FLETCHER and Lena Hall will each perform at the GLSEN Respect Celebration. GLSEN also announced Jennifer Beals, Jess Cagle, Wilson Cruz, Connor Franta, Jim Parsons and Alexandra Shipp will be part of the celebration. GLSEN previously announced Antoni Porowski as host.
BWW Review: THE BOOK OF MORMON at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza
'The Book of Mormon' came a-callin' to Thousand Oaks with its national tour - a fast-moving, crude but hilarious satire of those white-shirted, clean-cut missionaries. The clever score was written by the creators of 'South Park.' Audiences flocked to see the performance at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in a sold-out run.
