The Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration at Idyllwild Arts on October 14, 2024, will honor the contributions of Indigenous people through arts and culture, providing a platform for education and community dialogue. This year's event features the Delbert Anderson Quartet, led by notable Diné jazz artist Delbert Anderson, known for blending traditional Diné sounds with contemporary genres. The event will also showcase presentations, Indigenous foods, and a glassblowing demonstration while highlighting the collaboration with students from Sherman Indian School. This celebration emphasizes Idyllwild Arts' commitment to recognizing and uplifting Indigenous culture and history.
