CST announces auditions for Jeffrey Hatcher's Murderers. Auditions for this Shawn Hick's directed show will be held on on August 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. with callbacks on Sunday, August 30th.

Read the script before auditions! Perusal copies of the script may be checked out for a $10 refundable deposit per script. Scripts are due back on or before the audition date in order to receive your refund. To make arrangements to check out a script, call the Carpenter Square office at 232-6500. Office hours are Noon to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Please call before coming by the theatre office to make sure a script is available.For auditions, enter the main lobby and take the stairs or elevator to the basement level of Stage Center to check in and fill out your audition form. Bring a current résumé and photo (a good snapshot is fine), and be prepared to list any and all conflicts during the rehearsal period. If you have no photo, you should have a digital snapshot taken onsite.

Jeffrey Hatcher is the author of Compleat Female Stage Beauty, which is currently in production at CST and Three Viewings, performed at CST in 1998.Cast: 1 Man, 2 Women , however the role of Minka Lupino has been cast.Gerald Halverson—early 30s-45—a dapper man. He is "The Man Who Married His Mother-in-Law," which is a confession of an illicit love and plan to shelter five million dollars from the IRS.
Lucy Strickler—50s-70s—a long-suffering wife in "Margaret Faydle Comes to Town." When her husband Bob's eye starts roving again, Lucy constructs a diabolical plan to get rid of her cheating spouse and his AARP lover.Minka Lupino—40s—the receptionist for the Riddle Key Retirement Village in Florida. She is a fan of crime novels and becomes an avenging angel to rid the retirement community of the predators who target senior citizens. This role has been cast.
