SHAKESPEARE TRANSLATE: THE COMPLETE WORKS
DEC 01, 2:30 PM
Two Clowns Google Translate Shakespeare entire work 15 times and perform them. What are you going to do about it?
ABOUT THIS SHOW
Two Clowns Google Translate Shakespeare entire work 15 times and perform them to the highest of standards. What are you going to do about it?
Devon Loves ME Productions has taken their favorite bits of every one of Shakespeare's plays and put them through Google Translate before putting them back to English. Two clowns will perform this nonsense-ified text as perfectly as any classical Shakespearean actor would.
By deconstructing language, they can examine how we interpret the classical text in the 21st century, while also allowing the Shakespearean text to let loose from its academic chains and be funny once more.
