LTV Studios is excited to announce the spring launch party for Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea on Tuesday May 7th at 6 p.m. at Manhattan’s Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street, 2nd floor). Produced by LTV’s Creative Director Josh Gladstone and independent producer Donna Rubin, Hamptons Songbook by the Sea is a featured series this season at LTV Studios showcasing performances by the world’s best cabaret and Broadway artists. The spring launch party offers the opportunity to preview some of the performers lined up for the series at LTV this season.
Independent producer Donna Rubin has a 30-year history with The Triad Theater, while this year she's making her Hamptons producing-debut with the Summer Songbook season at LTV. "My first 'day' job in NYC, where I was working as a dancer and musical theater performer, was learning how to seat a sold-out Mark Nadler performance at The Triad - so it's full circle! I'm thrilled to bring these stellar artists all together to The Triad for this May 7 appeteaser - so many stars sharing the stage on one night - a perfect introduction and launchpad for our Hamptons season to come,” shares Donna Rubin.
Josh Gladstone, LTV's Creative Director, adds "Donna is an amazing partner - she's a devotee of cabaret and is completely focused on supporting the art form and generating opportunities for artists by building a new home for cabaret in the Hamptons, where she also resides for part of the year. How fortunate for our community that she's bringing her passion to LTV Studios, an intimate and ideal venue for vocal performance. I'd like to think of LTV as the downtown, Off-Broadway of the Hamptons - so this partnership with Donna and our showcase launch at The Triad is a potent and auspicious match!"
The series, made possible by sponsors Eleanor and Howard Morgan and the Hampton Jitney, will kick off Saturday June 22nd with songstress Anna Bergman. Hosted in the intimate, funky and unique environs of a reconfigured, industrial black-box television Studio 3 at LTV in East Hampton, Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea is complete with state-of-the art lighting and audio merging with the romantic ambiance of cafe' table seating, modular staging and a gorgeous Baby Grand. Each Songbook performance offers an up-front, live encounter with legendary songs and songwriters as interpreted by today's finest performers. The line up includes: Karen Akers, Mark Nadler, Christine Andreas & Marty Silvestri, Liz Larsen & Sal Viviano, Tovah Feldshuh, Steve Ross, Karen Murphy, Mark Singer & Darcy Dunn, Anna Bergman, Alex Rybeck and more still to be announced, several of whom will make a special advance appearance at the launch party at The Triad Theater. The approximate running time is 75 minutes.
Cost to attend the launch party is $75 per person plus a two drink minimum per person. Tickets may be purchased here https://bit.ly/4cUQo36. Tickets for live stream and on-demand are available as well at https://bit.ly/3JjmpnS.
