Now in its 19th season, C4 has built a reputation for championing contemporary composers, pushing the
boundaries of choral music, and exploring new artistic voices. The PREMIERES concert series is a key part
of this mission, offering composers the opportunity to workshop their pieces with the choir, receive
valuable feedback, and refine their works in preparation for a live performance.
PREMIERES I: INHALE promises an immersive evening of cutting-edge music, highlighting innovative
approaches to choral composition. With C4’s unique model of being composer-conductors and singers
themselves, the choir brings a deep connection to the creation and interpretation of new works, offering
audiences a glimpse into the future of choral music.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale, with a standard ticket price of $30, making this groundbreaking
concert accessible to a wide audience. We also provide a ‘Pay What You Can’ ticket: suggested minimum
of $10; this ticket is meant for students, seniors, fellow artists, and anyone for whom cost may be a
limiting factor - and a ‘Pay It Forward’ ticket at $50; this ticket is an elective purchase that makes it
possible for us to offer discounted tickets and share our music with audience members who could not
otherwise attend.
Tickets can be ordered on Eventbrite here.
Join us for a night of musical discovery, where the voices of today’s composers come alive in an intimate
setting. Don’t miss the chance to witness the debut of these extraordinary works.
