Aditi Pictures Presents Opening Night Of The Off-Broadway Comedy THE NEWLYWEDS, LL Cool J, Simon Smith, Joumana Kidd And Dennis Da Menace To Attend

Aditi Pictures  opens the run of its Off -Broadway comedy, “The Newlyweds” on May 21, 2009, 8 PM at the ATA American Theatre of Actors (314 W. 54th St.).   Immediately following the performance will be a private cocktail reception at 10 PM at Whiskey Park (100 Central Park South).

The Newlyweds is a contemporary and hip production that will take audiences on a journey as deception and lies leads to love and marriage through sickness and no wealth.  Set within the hustle and bustle of affluent current day Midtown Manhattan.  The Newlyweds tells a story of two who find themselves over involved in their efforts to impress the other with the wealth they do not posses.  After a quick rush to the alter before their covers are revealed, this romantic comedy will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions as these impostors try to survive love without the worldly riches each one is initially set out for.  Featured in the play are BE Rivers and Phillip Smith, both stars of Platanos and Collard Greens.
