PHOTO FLASH: 'Shocking' Ad Leaves AVENUE Q Puppet Star Accidentally Overexposed

For over thirteen years, the Tony-winning hit Avenue Q has been reminding ticket-buyers that even though the hilarious musical features adorably furry puppet characters inspired by the family-friendly Jim Henson collection, it ain't for kids.

That fact becomes abundantly clear with the introduction of a sexy puppet chanteuse unsubtly named "Lucy The Slut."

And while Lucy's provocative attire leaves little to the imagination, there's been at least a whisper of discretion in her depictions in the show's advertisements.

Until now.

As reported by the New York Post, a printing error in the show's ad in the New York City Pocket and Travel Guides omitted strategically-placed copy, resulting in a shocking image of puppet exposure.

But don't worry. This is New York City, where women are legally allowed to be topless in public.
