Announces Open Auditions for “Zombies from The Beyond”

The Hill Country Community Theatre announce open auditions for their production of “Zombies from The Beyond.” Auditions are Monday December 8 and Tuesday December 9 at 7:00 PM at the theatre, 4003 W FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657. The show will be directed by Cranston Dodds.
DATELINE: MILWAUKEE, 1955 - FLYING SAUCER INVASION! A bevy of flying saucers from Planet X has appeared over the skies of Beertown, led by alien aviatrix, Queen Zombina, on a quest to “zombify” and abduct all of Earth’s men! The Milwaukee Space Center and the US military are prepared to meet the foes head on, until Zombina unleashes her secret weapon. It’s up to a mild-mannered scientist, an all-American girl-next-door, a man-hungry secretary and one plucky, tap-dancing delivery boy to save the world from this planetary menace from outer space!
Rehearsals for “Zombies from The Beyond” begin December 15, 2014. Production dates are February 19 through March 1, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundaymatinees at 2:15 PM.
The roles are:
Trenton Corbett: 25-35, All-American, heroic “Clark Kent” type - Baritone.
Rick Jones: 25-35, a shifty military high-ranker who’s actually a red agent. Does brief fake Russian accent. Baritone.
Billy Krutzik: 20-30, exceptionally charming tap-dancing delivery boy. Tenor or baritone.
Major Malone 40-55, square-jawed, no-nonsense military man, warmly parental. Baritone or bass.
Mary Malone 25-35, the perfect 1950’s woman, but with an edge and comedic timing. Soprano.
Charlene “Charlie” Osmanski: 25-35, wise-cracking, man-hungry secretary with lots of heart. Soprano.
Zombina: (any age) Comic buxom alien on the prowl for human males. Soprano.
