Auditions for the play
You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up! at the CLO Cabaret at Theater Square, directed by Van Kaplan . This is not a musical. Singing is not required.
Principals must be available January 14 - May 5, 2013
Who
A cast of two strong actors (1 Man, 1 Woman and 1 understudy for each). Must be versatile, move well, and be at home with both comedic and dramatic material.
Performers of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
MALE: Mid 30’s to 40’s; Annabelle's husband. Loveably neurotic and easily flummoxed. Wry sense of humor and a true romantic. Stand-up comedy experience a plus.
FEMALE: Mid 30’s to 40’s; Jeff's wife. The woman who can do it all. Tough, likeable, effortlessly sexy and smart. Great sense of humor, but capable of really blowing up if angered.
