THE ODD COUPLE - Mill Town Players

SYNOPSIS: In Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, two mismatched roommates, the neat freak Felix Ungar and the
slovenly Oscar Madison, struggle to coexist under one roof. Felix, recently divorced and obsessively tidy, clashes
with Oscar, a fun-loving, messy sportswriter. Their comedic differences are revealed during their usual poker
night with the boys before reaching new heights when they invite two eccentric British sisters to dinner. Despite
a collection of misunderstandings, it is because of their oddball friendship, Felix and Oscar eventually learn
valuable lessons about tolerance and companionship.
AVAILABLE ROLES: We are seeking strong comedic actors able to balance humor with heart with an
energetic, hardworking, and collaboratively diverse cast to breathe new life into this classic comedy.

room New York apartment and has grown comfortable with his disorganized existence
• Felix Unger- 40s-50s- Fussy man who recognizes the challenges in living with him but struggles to make
any adjustments to his structured ideology
• Speed- 30s-50s- One of Oscar and Felix’s poker buddies. Gruff and sarcastic, often picking on Vinnie and

• Roy- 30s-50s- One of Oscar and Felix’s poker buddies. Oscar’s accountant who has a dry wit but is less
