*YOU DO NOT HAVE TO be an NMSU student (or Theatre major) to audition - ALL are WELCOME - ALL are encouraged to AUDITION
NMSU Theatre Arts/American Southwest Theatre Company announces auditions for its Fall 2019 productions
THE WOLVES a play by Sarah Delappe Directed by
Nichole Hamilton (OPENS SEPT 26 2019)
AN Add-ON SHOW ->Tomas And The Library Lady Directed by
Claudia Billings (RUNS OCT 25/26 2019)
and the MUSICAL
A Christmas Carol Directed by Xodia Choate (OPENS NOV 21 2019)
Auditions will be held at:
The ASNMSU Center for the Arts on the NMSU campus on Saturday, August 24th from 10:00 am onward, with callbacks scheduled for Sunday, August 25th from 10 am – 4:00 pm.
No roles for any production have been pre-cast, and roles span all ages and genders.

WHAT TO PREPARE - All auditioners are asked to prepare one 60-second comic OR dramatic monologue and 16 bars of a Christmas song or carol. For the song please bring sheet music for the pianist or be prepared to sing a capella.
NMSU Theatre majors are asked to prepare two contrasting monologues (60-seconds each) for the auditions, as well as the song.
Auditions for the children’s roles in A Christmas Carol will be scheduled for a later date in the semester.
