Auditions for The Holy and Transcendent Wedding of Wisdom and the Word, an original work written and directed by Connor Kizer, will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd from 6:00 to 10:00 at the Mercury Theater, with potential callbacks on Tuesday, March 10th.
The Holy and Transcendent Wedding of Wisdom and the Word is a play that guides the audience through the four stages of the alchemical process. Each of the four acts features a wildly different performance style, ranging from immersive, to personal and one-on-one, to a pageant-style mystery play. Character will be loose, and plot non-existent, so the emphasis will be on style and the extemporaneous crafting of a moment.
Rehearsals will begin in March. Shows will be Thursday through Sunday on the following weekends:
May 14 through May 17
May 21 through May 24
May 28 through May 31
