THE WIZARD OF OZ - Youth Production
Please choose one 5 minute time slot on Saturday, December 1st. As a reminder, all of our Dare 2 Inspire productions will be free of charge to all students that audition, in keeping with our mission to make interesting and meaningful theatre accessible to all students across the Miami Valley.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
WHAT TO PREPARE: 32 bars of a song (90 second cut) from a musical and a 1 minute monologue from a play, movie or book. There is no dance audition. Using sheet music is encouraged and a pianist will be provided. You may use a track as long as it has NO vocals. You can find karaoke versions of many songs on You Tube. You may NOT sing a capella!
WHAT TO BRING: Completed audition form which will be emailed to you, list of conflicts, and a photo of yourself (4x6 or smaller is perfect).
AGES: You must be in 2nd-12th grade
WHERE: Studio A in the Loft at
126 N Main Street, Dayton (in between Unos Pizza and The Victoria Theater)
CALL BACKS: Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 (same location)
PERFORMANCES: March 8th, 9th and 10th at the Dayton Convention Center (Rehearsals begin in January).
