The Turn Of The Screw

Open auditions for the Waukesha Civic Theatre’s production of The Turn Of The Screw will be held:
No appointment is necessary. Auditions will be held at the Waukesha Civic Theatre Building at 264 West Main Street, Waukesha. Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script. If you will not arrive at auditions until 8:30 or later, please contact the theatre so the director can be informed.
A young 1890s governess, isolated in an English manor home, must contend with ghosts haunting her two young charges. She struggles to determine whether she is insane, or whether the ghosts do exist, in this frightening Henry James tale.
The Turn Of The Screw is a horror story which contains “R” rated material requiring exceptional maturity for the child actors, who must be experienced as actors; outgoing; neither overly sensitive nor shy; cooperative; creative and mature beyond their years. All roles are open. All speaking roles require a British accent.
There are 3 roles for women aged 20-60’s, and 2 roles for men aged 20’s-40’s.
There is 1 role for girls who look 8-9 years, and 1 role for boys who look 10-11 years.
