Sands Theater Company will hold open auditions for THE ODD COUPLE - The Female Version on August 11 and 12 (Sunday & Monday) at the Athens Theatre at7pm.
The Athens Theatre is located at 124 N. Florida Avenue in Downtown DeLand.
Performances will be held on September 27, 28, 29*, October 3, 4, 5, 6*, 11, 12, 13* at the Athens. All shows start at 7:30p except for Sunday *Matinees at 2:30p.
All roles are unpaid. No roles are pre-cast. Actors may attend either evening and will be asked to read from the script. A prepared monologue is not required.
All roles are available and include the following characters.
Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon's hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of
The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the two Constanzuela brothers. But the hilarity remains the same.
No appointments. Sign-ins are accepted starting at 6:30p. Actors will be seen in the order in which they arrive. Callbacks will be announced
