The Nerd Auditions March 4th & 5th
Auditions for South Bend Civic Theatre's production of The Nerd will be held on Sunday, March 4th and Monday March 5th at 6pm.
Willum’s birthday party is about to get a jolt of excitement. Rick, a fellow ex-soldier who had saved Willum’s life in Vietnam (but who he actually never met) has decided to pop by for a visit. Delighted at first, Willum’s enthusiasm wanes when he finds out that Rick is not only socially inept, but also never plans to leave! Desperate to get him out of the house, Willum must hatch an outrageous plan to rid his life of this wacky GI who came to dinner!

Introduction to Stage Managing, February 17 and 24th
We're proud to announce our latest class: “Introduction to Stage Managing.
Taught by Debra Gasper (IUSB and Shakespeare at Notre Dame), the classes are free and open to anyone, whether you're new to theatre or an old pro. The class, in two parts will be held in the Wilson Theatre on Saturday, February 17th and Saturday, February 24th.
Debra has been a professional stage manager for 13 years and is a member of Actor’s Equity Association. Debra came to Notre Dame from Louisville, Ky, where she spent 10 years as the resident stage manager for Actors Theatre of Louisville. Debra holds a B.A. in theatre from Indiana University at South Bend, where she teaches stage management.
