City Circle Acting Company Announces Auditions for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
City Circle Acting Company of Coralville will hold auditions on May 11 and 12 for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Auditions will be Friday, May 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 12 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church,
2121 S. Ridge Drive in Coralville.
Based on Mark Haddon’s internationally best-selling novel and winner of the 2015 Tony Award for Best Play, Curious Incident will be directed by Bo Frazier and will open City Circle’s 21st season on September 28-30 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. Rehearsals begin August 5.
Auditioners should prepare a 1-2 minute monologue (memorized). British dialect (Cockney or RP) is preferable but not required for the audition. A group movement audition is also required so come dressed to move.
