??Be part of one of the most popular musicals in history! Fresh off its North American tour we are proud to bring this iconic musical phenomenon with a worldwide fan base to The TADA Theatre stage! With music and lyrics by Emmy®, Grammy®, Oscar®, and Tony® winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Gethsemane,” and “Superstar”!
Auditions are for anyone wanting to showcase their talent within the age group called for by the character descriptions. The TADA Theatre does not discriminate in any way and believes in diversity casting. It welcomes meeting new talent as well as seeing veteran actors all working towards the same goal of connecting our community with the positive power of theatre in a safe and creative environment.?
?How To Audition: Please book a 10 minute appointment on one of the dates above by emailing
casting@tadaproductions.info including a headshot, list of stage experience, your top 3 preferences of time/date you would like to audition and the audition sheet (pdf file) found at
www.tadatheatre.info/jcsauditions that you can download, fill out and return along with the rest of your items.
For The Audition: Sing a song that best showcases your vocal ability no longer than 2 minutes in length. An accompanist will be provided.
Location: The TADA Theatre in the Historic Haymarket District 701 P Street Lincoln, NE.
??Important: Please arrive to the theatre lobby 10 minutes before your audition time. If you need to cancel please do so within 24 hours ahead of time.
Audition By Video: If you can not make these in person audition times you may send in a video audition.
Rehearsals: They will begin approx. the week of April 28th. Some conflicts can be worked around. Please list them on your audition form. TADA manages time wisely and knows that your time is valuable. Everyone cast will be given a rehearsal calendar of the entire process that lists when you are called for.
