Wetumpka, Al- The Wetumpka Depot Players will host auditions for The Christmas Bus and The Miracle Worker. Both shows call for large, culturally diverse casts with roles for people of all ages.
Auditions will be held October 4, 5 and 7th.
Auditions for The Christmas Bus will be October 4 and 5 at 4pm, at the Depot Theatre 300 Main Street. The large double cast will be directed by Kristy Meanor and the play performed December 9-13th. Those cast must be available to rehearse weeknights, weekends and the week of Thanksgiving. Auditionees will read from the script. The group is seeking a culturally diverse cast of male/female adults ( 20 and older) and children ages 8-18 for a large double cast production. The Christmas Bus is a delightful play about a group of orphans who experience a Christmas miracle.
Auditions for The Miracle Worker will take place Saturday October 5 at 2pm and Monday October 7 at 6pm. Directed by Stephen Dubberley, the show will be performed late January and early February. The play calls for a culturally diverse cast of male/females (20 and older) and children 9-19. The award winning play dramatizes the relationship between Helen Keller and her long time teacher and care giver Annie Sullivan.
